Increased WNV activity throughout California - The presence of West Nile virus positive mosquitoes in Alameda County and throughout California warrants additional caution

HAYWARD, CA August, 27, 2024 - The Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District recommends residents and visitors be aware of mosquito activity throughout the state, and to take precautions to decrease mosquito bites.
