Public Hearing for the Proposed Mosquito and Disease Control Assessment for the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District.

(The District reserves the right to limit the length of individual comments in order to allow all members of the public the opportunity to be heard within a reasonable time. Generally, the District allows three minutes per speaker. However, the District may allow additional time for speakers representing organized groups, and may limit time further if required by the number of citizens wishing to speak. Individuals may cede their time to another speaker, but the District still reserves the right to limit the total amount of time allotted to any one speaker).

Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.3: “Every notice for a special meeting shall provide an opportunity for members of the public to directly address the legislative body concerning any item that has been described in the notice for the meeting before or during consideration of that item.” Because this is a special meeting, public comments and discussion by the Board and staff are restricted to the subjects listed on the meeting agenda.
